Following dental school he did a one year Residency program in general dentistry at the Buffalo General Hospital. He joined Dr. Mindy Paticoff Weinman and Dr. Alan Gross in private practice in 1985.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Weinman works with Independent Health Associates Dental Insurance as their dental consultant. He is also often called upon as a consultant and expert witness to aid in the defense of malpractice lawsuits against general dentists in the Western New York area and is also a member of the 8th District Dental Society Peer Review committee. 

He is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the 8^th District Dental Society, and the Erie County Dental Society. He is a member of the Metropolitan Dental Study Club, and a member and past President of the Buffalo Gilead chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Mindy Paticoff Weinman received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Science & Psychology from Eisenhower College in Seneca Falls, NY in 1976.  She attended the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, and received her DDS in 1981.  Dr. Weinman completed her General Practice Dental Residency and Fellowship program at the Erie County Medical Center in 1983. She began her association with Dr. Alan Gross at 191 North Street in 1984.  She and her husband, Dr. David Weinman, took over the practice after Dr. Gross’s retirement in 1994.

Dr. Weinman is a member of the American Dental Association, The Eighth District Dental Society, the Erie County Dental Society, the Metropolitan Dental Study Club and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

She also enjoys her position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the UB Dental School, where she teaches both the undergraduate Dental students as well as the Residents in the Advanced Education General Dental program Additionally, Dr. Weinman provides dental services for the residents of the Weinberg Campus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
