Barb has been in the dental field for over 20 years, in all different capacities. She has worked with this practice since 1992. She is happy with the new computerization and digital technology that our office provides and will be glad to help our patients with their insurance questions, procedure information, and anything else needed to help make their visits as pleasant and easy as possible.

Barb is proud to be a first time grandmother. Leisure time is spent working in her back yard with her husband and their two large cats and two small dogs (or mini-zoo as her family likes to tease her).

Kate is married with 2 sons that keep her busy with various sports. She enjoys reading, walking her very active dog and spending time with her family.

Amy – Dental Hygienist

Amy graduated from Bryant & Stratton’s Dental Assisting Program in 1981 and received her degree in Dental Hygiene from ECC in 1983. She has been working as a hygienist ever since. In 2008 she joined the Weinman’s as a part-time hygienist and in 2009 she became our full-time hygienist. Amy enjoys working with the Weinman team to provide quality care and educating her patients about oral health and its effect on whole body health.

Amy loves to spend time with her family, golfing and going on motorcycle rides with her husband.

Mariya – Dental Hygienist

Mariya was originally an electrical engineer in Russia. She changed her profession when she moved to the United States, graduating from ECC in 1996. She only works in our office part-time Saturday and she is very well liked by patients and co-workers. Her enthusiasm for dental hygiene and her patients is obvious.

Mariya has 2 beautiful granddaughters that occupy a great deal of her time, the rest she likes to spend traveling.

Cindy loves to crochet, read, walk and watch old movies. She is married with three children (two girls and a boy ages 15 and up) 2 rabbits and 2 chinchillas.

Vanessa – Dental Assistant

Vanessa graduated from Monroe Community College in May 2006 with a Certificate of Completion in Dental Assisting. She received her National Board Certification in Dental Assisting in March 2007. She has worked as a dental assistant since 2006, initially in Rochester, then moving here to the Buffalo area.  She enjoys working with our dedicated team of employees and our office policy of everyone pitching in together to better help the doctors treat our patients.

Being a new Buffalonian, Vanessa is looking forward to her first summer in Buffalo and checking out all that it has to offer.

Christie - Dental Assistant 

Christie has worked as a dental assistant in our office since 2004.  She also works at the Weinberg Campus scheduling and assisting with Dr. Mindy Weinman.  Christie loves working with the senior residents at Weinberg and also enjoys the interaction with patients assisting in our office.  She is also extremely efficient working with the insurance companies and obtaining patient benefits.
